Type 1 road trains travelling into Rockhampton from the west will have access to Rockhampton abattoirs from 1 July 2017 without having to unhook a trailer or crossload at Central Queensland Livestock Exchange - CQLX at Gracemere. Operators can apply immediately to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator with operations to commence from 1 July 2017. Restricted operating hours will be from 7pm to 7am.
