The Australian Lot Feeders' Association (ALFA) is pleased to annouce that despite COVID-19 set-backs it will continue to deliver its vital industry training and workshops this year, starting with a Nutrition & Milling Workshop to be held online this July.

ALFA's extensive program of events, workshops and awards are a highlight in the lot feeding sector's calendar each year, however, restrictions associated with delivering face-to face events during the COVID-19 pandemic have meant a scaled back program thus far this year. With restrictions now easing, ALFA is working towards restoring normality to the Program through the newly released program.

JULY 2020

The Nutrition & Milling Workshop aims to instil and improve animal nutrition practices directly related to animal health and welfare in Australian feedlots.

This workshop will benefit all feedlot staff, particularly staff members who work within or with the feed team.

The workshop will also benefit those involved as suppliers to the feedlot industry in order to understand the specific requirements of feedlots to produce their quality grain fed beef product.

This workshop will be run via three 1.5hr webinar sessions across three weeks, due to current travel restrictions.
