Cattlesales Website Feature: Setting a Cattle Alert

News Image

Australian cattle buyers are now savvier than ever, they have specific needs and they have their finger on the pulse in a competitive marketplace. The one thing buyers don't always have is time… and that is why we offer cattle buyers the 'Set Cattle Alert' function within the website.

Setting a cattle alert is a simple, free and easy to use function that allows buyers to select pre-requisites for cattle they are looking to buy. For example a buyer might be seeking X amount of steers within a certain weight range and in a certain area to feed at a feedlot. A buyer can set an alert and will be notified via email and also their website user portal when a match for their alert is met. This happens each time a seller places a listing that meets the buyer's pre-requisites set within the alert. It's that simple. The alert does the leg work for the buyer and offers sellers access to waiting buyers as listings are placed.
