LiveCorp Shipboard Stockperson Training Course
Fremantle, Western Australia

LiveCorp is offering its Shipboard Stockperson Training Course in Fremantle, WA, from 30 April to 3 May 2019.

Shipboard accredited stockpersons play an important role in caring for livestock and are responsible for the management of the health, welfare and physical needs of Australian livestock exported by sea during loading, voyage and discharge. An accredited stockperson is employed or contracted by an Australian licensed exporter and is not ordinarily a member of the ship's crew.

The LiveCorp shipboard stockpersons' training course is part of the accreditation program for people responsible for the care of livestock exported by sea. The program aims to produce provisionally accredited stockpersons to service the livestock export industry in accordance with the Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (ASEL). The training course covers all aspects of shipboard care and management of livestock with an emphasis on sheep and cattle.

Places are limited and enrolments are being taken now. Further information can be found on the LiveCorp website here and follow the Australian Livestock Exporters' Council on Facebook here.
